Kids Comedy Club will run more frequent sessions when we’re working towards performance opportunities. Otherwise, it runs the last Sunday of every month. One on ones with comedians can be facilitated on request.

Resident Comedian
Our resident comedian is the legendary Laura Hughes. Laura Hughes is a comedian, writer, and actor. You may already have been in a workshop with Laura or seen her perform at the Sydney Comedy Festival Kids & Family Day Best of the Fest or the Comedy Store PG Showcase.
In 2011, Laura began her stand-up career as a National finalist in the RAW Comedy competition. She was then hand-picked by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for the Comedy Zone showcase in 2012. Since then, Laura has done multiple solo shows to sold out crowds at comedy festivals and performs regularly across the country and overseas.

We will bring in other amazing kid-friendly comedians from time to time.
Resident Event/Organisational Guru
While Nat wouldn’t get on a stage with a mic if you paid her a million dollarbucks, she’s very good at wrangling others to do so. An Event Specialist, Nat has worked for local and state government, music festival promoters, and the Sydney Comedy Festival.
She has a mountain of experience and oodles of passion for creating those magic moments that people remember long after an event has passed - and she’s pumped to combine all of that to bring Springboard Kids Comedy Club to life.
With two funny little buggers of her own that love comedy, she is thrilled to create a fun, welcoming and safe space for kids to sharpen their silly skills and hop on stage and tell us exactly how it is!
All staff and comedians have valid WWCC’s.
